In Unit 9, you will survey the the End of Project Activities. The End of Project Activities are by their nature more open-ended, and may take more class time than the activities and investigations. You may wish to use one or more of them as the goal of your classroom robotics activities.
The "Research Report" Activity asks students working invididually to engage both in research and in documenting their robotics work. They are given a choice of 4 topics:
The "Sales Assignment" Activity asks students working in teams to promote their idea for a robotics project in a promotional medium (presentation, video, flyer, ad, website, etc.). The activity focuses both on providing experience for students in developing an extremely important set of real-world skills involving promotion and selling, and on providing context for how real robotics projects begin in our society.
The "Smart Housekeeping" project is a team-based challenge in which students are asked to design, build and program a robot that can successfully complete a robotics obstacle course.
