The Follow the Guidelines Activity introduces students to a method of robot navigation used by many real world robots: line tracking. Students are led step-by-step through the process of using a light sensor to enable their robot to travel between two points by using a line. The Faster Line Tracking Investigation takes a closer look at how line tracking actually works in order to line track successfully at a higher speed.
